Course Description:
6 classes of our summer advanced sketching course taught MWF from 9 AM to 12 PM each week.

Students will explore key concepts such as the five-value system, composition, value patterns, and the variations of form and cast shadow edges. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of light and shadow relationships to create depth and realism. Students will also develop paint handling skills through still life, figure, and landscape studies. The course provides the skills necessary to develop an admissions level portfolio.
