Foundation Drawing & Painting - 24 Classes $1,139 • 24 visits • Fine Art Drawing and Painting Program is inspired by the Classical academy system, and adapted for the contemporary young artist! This program emphasizes strengthening foundational skills and providing exposure to all types of drawing and painting that span different periods of art history from around the globe. All classes use examples from the Masters and other famous artists as a useful reference and starting point as students begin their creative journeys.
Once understanding the particular constraints that earthenware is bound by, with enough time and patience, almost anything can be made with clay! In Cercamic Sculpture, we teach our students a wide range of hand-building techniques, such as slab building, coiling and pinching, and evolve their prior knowledge from drawing and painting to how it applies in 3-dimensional space. Whether for the purely fun and sculptural, the functional, or somewhere in between, students will unlock their imaginations with this highly versatile material.
